Homemade Nutella

If you're a chocolate lover or have a sweet tooth, this recipe is going to be your new best friend! This homemade Nutella recipe honestly tastes like the real deal and comes with loads of health benefits, it's packed with healthy fats from our coconut oil and antioxidant compounds from our hazelnuts!

INGREDIENTS: 

2-3 cups hazelnuts, 1 cup of coconut sugar, 0.5 cup of cacao powder, 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence, 1 cup of melted coconut oil.

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 180C and lightly roast your hazelnuts until the skin starts to come off. 

2. Once cooled, pour them onto a tea towel and fold over the edges. Roll them around inside the tea towel to get the excess skin off. 

3. Pour them into a food processor, add the rest of the ingredients and blend until nice and smooth! If you want your mixture to be even smoother, it's a good idea to turn your coconut sugar into coconut powdered sugar by blending that prior.
